Personal opinion: Maybe the time has come to centralize healthcare management, taking it away from the Regions, to limit waste and create a more efficient system, as it was in the past when Italy was an example for Europe. Healthcare personnel: Exceeded the 50% limit of spending for hiring doctors and health and social-health professionals with fixed-term contracts compared to 2009. Article 8: Possibility for NHS entities to hire healthcare and social-health personnel on permanent contracts until December 31, 2025, who have accrued 18 months of service (even if not continuous) by December 31, 2023, of which at least 6 months between January 31, 2020 and December 31, 2024. Priorities defined by the Regions. Alternative stabilization: At least 6 months of work during the Covid period by December 31, 2024. University hospitals: Article 44-bis: The 2% limit for fixed-term contracts in university hospital companies has been removed, for care needs.
